Kenwood Business Park in Havant was originally a 300,000 sq ft facility comprising the central head office and production/distribution warehouse for Kenwood Appliances plc. Following developments in the company, a major part of its operations were relocated to China leaving half of the property vacant.

Frobisher Ltd acted for UBS Triton Property Fund in the acquisition of a vacant data centre from Texas Instruments in 2003. Following the development of a variety of scheme proposals to exploit maximum value from the site and buildings Frobisher, working with agents, Lambert Smith Hampton, pursued negotiations and secured the lettings of the two buildings on site to Bedford County Council and the Highways Agency.

Frobisher Ltd acquired 35 acres of semi-derelict land and buildings with a few remaining tenants at a site in Lymington in 2002. On behalf of UBS Triton Property Fund, Frobisher has implemented proposals for the refurbishment of existing buildings and has provided new roads and services for the onward sale of some 18 acres of Employment development land.

In 1998 Frobisher Ltd identified a 1960s constructed warehouse/industrial facility in an established industrial area of Portsmouth that presented exciting medium term development opportunities. In partnership with UBS Triton Property Fund, Frobisher pursued the purchase and planning for the site’s refurbishment and redevelopment.

In 2004 UBS Triton Property Fund purchased 9 buildings from Silentnight Ltd on the Walworth Industrial Estate for a sum in excess of £6m. Over recent years Frobisher Ltd have overseen the refurbishment of a number of these buildings and their letting to new occupiers including Powerdrive, Dreams, Abel & Cole and Wessex Fixings.

CANNON COURT, LYMINGTON CANNON COURT, LYMINGTON
Frobisher Ltd acquired two retail buildings in Lymington high street during the mid 1980s which were refurbished and sold as shops and flats. The rear gardens of the properties were retained. In 2000, Frobisher acquired an adjoining garden centre and planning permission was subsequently obtained in 2004 for 5,000 sq ft of new A2 accommodation. Following marketing a pre let of some 4,000 sq ft was achieved, to the Department of Works and Pensions for a new Job Centre Plus facility, and construction commenced in 2005. An additional 1,000 sq. ft. of A1/A2 retail units was also constructed.

In September 2006 Frobisher acquired a former fertiliser production and storage facility, comprising some 20,000 sq ft of buildings on a site of c7 acres, in Micheldever, Hampshire from Bathroom warehouse company No Code Limited on an unconditional basis.
